About Us
Latif Memorial Cancer Hospital is a registered non-profit hospital located just outside the city of Rawalakot, Poonch, Azad Jammu & Kashmir. Founded in June of 2019 by Dr. Naeem Latif, MD, the CEO of the hospital who is currently practicing Hematology/Oncology in the United States.
OUR MISSION
- To provide affordable and if possible, free medical care for all patients and focus on cancer care
- To improve public health awareness through modern resources
- To continue medical education for health care professionals
OUR JOURNEY
Built on land generously donated by the late Muhammad Latif Khan, construction began in 2017 and was completed in June 2019 at an approximate cost of $400,000 (12 million rupees). The hospital was officially inaugurated on June 15, 2019, by the former President of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Mr. Masood Khan.
